LX Factory Lisbon

I've been so looking forward to laying eyes on the LX Factory in Lisbon for myself... a once abandoned industrial park rehabilitated into studios and showrooms for makers. You can also find co-working and co-sleeping. There's a lot of co-ing going on there.

I discovered Margarida Villela Joalharia. She is a Portuguese architect and designer who fabricates wearable pieces out of recycled building materials. I just don't want to take this sexy spiral of aluminum off!

I'd love to start my version of an LX factory someday.
