After all these years admiring Stanley Whitney's work, what an absolute treat to see his work in this beautiful space at Matthew Marks Gallery in LA.

There's so much work we are fortunate to see online, but it will never replace the punch in the gut - that visceral experience, of seeing and feeling it in person. I'm blown away.
