The Only Tourists In Town

Spetses is serene and even more off-season than Hydra with all the hotels closed. After hopping off the flying dolphin the taxi drivers told us we were "the only tourists on the island". The cafes were only half filled with locals which afforded us the time to teach the bartender how to make a dirty dry gin martini. I know, our talents are endless right?

I hate to tell you, but this view is from our terrace of our super affordable place. Have I mentioned how much I love off-season traveling?!

We're here on a recon mission... trying to figure out what it would be like to live in Greece and what islands are the most welcoming year-round. It will take a while to visit all the islands... but sooomebody has to do it :)
